To reach Hvar Town you will most probably use a boat connection from Split directly to Hvar or Stari Grad. There are also direct connections from Dubrovnik, Vis, Korčula, Vela Luka, Milna and Ubli.

There are several catamarans and speedboats maintained by “Jadrolinija” and “Krilo Jet” companies (foot passengers only – for vehicles transport use ferry lines: “Split – Stari Grad” or “Drvenik – Sućuraj”). Important: In high season, these lines might be overbooked so keep in mind to grab your tickets as a first thing on arrival to Split or book it online in advance (recommended). Find schedules and online booking at and (please check both sites).
  • To Stari Grad (Hvar Island) by ferry (approx. 120min / 6€).
Local ferry for vehicles and foot passengers maintained by “Jadrolinija” company. Bigger boats are more comfortable, behave more stable on the sea and transport more people. Private taxi speedboat is required to be arranged in advance and it can take you not only to Hvar harbour but to any location in Hvar you prefer. You can contact us for more information and bookings.
